How much you say?
A fuckin’ much! Pardon me for my foul and filthy language, I’m just excited and I’m a just a pirate.
Many of you scullywags already use the power of Messenger and are amazed with the firepower it provides, but I’m 100% sure, you haven’t used it like this (YET). Yes, I can be 100% sure and not be cocky at the same time, because it hasn’t been done YET. I used YET two times, I know. On purpose.
If you are smarter than an average scullywag (the bar is pretty low here) you will see the opportunity and grab it by the fucking horns asap.
But first, let me say a few words on the power of Messenger.
The power of email is well known to you by now, or at least it should be, but the power of Messenger is relatively unknown. I mean, you probably heard it is awesome and the next big thing, but why?
I always like to prove my statements with numbers. I know you are used to fake guru screenshots, but these are the real numbers or as we like to call it: DATA
If you rocked a 25+% open rate on your email game, you were good in my book, If you got around 40% you were damn good (we are talking about big lists here).
If you rocked a 10%+ Click rate in your emails, you were a winner.
Lets take this to the Messenger level now.
Messenger campaigns are on average across the board at this moment opening at 90% and their click rate is 45%, which is insane and will probably drop with time, so you have to jump on this ship now. INSANE.
No, this is not a typo, these are real numbers.
So, why did I use the YET above?
Because the biggest problem, not really a problem, a minor setback was the acquisition of messenger leads, you had no other options than adding the messenger opt-in form on parts of your site or use Facebook to generate new leads. Now, things have changed a bit.
You remember when we launched Wheelio and changed the popup game? Well, this is almost the same, since Wheelio can now fucking capture messenger leads with every spin! You heard me. You can now collect messenger leads like a boss pirate captain.
How is this possible?
Like all best things, you need a partner. And who better than our existing awesome partner – Recart. The existing integration we have with them is a massive success, but it will be a small dot when we compare it do this. We are the first ones to offer you this kind of messenger lead generation and they are the first ones that will take it to the next level.
How does it work? (Recart guys wrote an awesome piece about it)
With Wheelio and Recart, you’ll build your email and Messenger list simultaneously. Your Recart Messenger list can be used just like the email list. After Wheelio subscribed Facebook users to your Recart Messenger list, you can send them automated and instant campaigns.
Yep, to their smartphones, right away. Since Recart is built for ecommerce, you can send:
- Abandoned Cart
- Order Receipt
- Shipping Notification
- Welcome
- Purchase Follow-up
automated campaigns to your customers. Enable them once, count the sales forever.
And what about newsletters? You can send newsletter-like messages to your Messenger subscribers as well. We call it Instant Campaigns, merchants use it like they used the email newsletters: they announce new arrivals, fresh content, sales, and other promotions.
Grow Your Messenger List with Wheelio
Wheelio connects with your Recart account and displays the Recart widget on their popup, right under the CTA button.
When your customers spin the wheel, they will be automatically subscribed to your Recart Messenger list. Simple as that. There is beauty in how simple and effective this is.
I couldnt explain this any better myself! 🙂 Considering what a drunk I am, that is not saying much… What I want to add here. Messenger really is a powerful tool and it is on the way to coexist with emails (I dont think it will kill the email game), but they can work stupidly good when utilized together. Use this power you have, these kind of opportunities dont come every day.
Ohh, I almost forgot. You probably want to know how to install it? Well, the Recart crew took care of you again and wrote a really simple how to start. Click here and go to their original article.
Over and out,
Captain Karlo
