If you read the title and you read SHIPS, well, this is a pirate blog, but we are not talking about ships, this time is worse than that. We are talking about SHEEP, the animal one, you know BEEE BEEE BEEE sounding wool creature.
Sheep is not a really smart animal and in nature, they are like free bacon for wolves and other predators. You are the same, to a so called “guru”. They smell sheep from a mile away and they know how to make you dance to their music. A few screenshots is usually all it takes and then a magical course is on the way. You sheep lineup and yell “shut up and take my money”. This is part of the problem, but it isnt the part we will be talking about today.
The problem is in creativity. You simply dont have it.
Some of you really dont have it, and that is ok, not everyone is good looking as me. But the ones that have it and dont use it, you are stooopid.
All you do all day is check Facebook groups and do what others are saying is ok and it works. They say, use manual bidding, you do it. They say, use auto bidding, you do it. They say use this, you do it. The only good thing here is that you actually take action, but you take it for the wrong reason.
You have to test stuff out, not just do it because someone said so. I discovered this print on demand scene a few years ago and I remember people in FB groups that posted the text copy for the T-shirts that were selling on Teespring. It went something like:

Order your shirt here ==> URL to the teespring campaign
Tag a friend or 2 in the comments that would also like this shirt!
Dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the copy used, but there are a few texts that could work better and nobody even tried to test them out. All just used this soulless ad and followed blindly.
There are more and more people in this business daily and the direct sales approach is getting tougher by the day, so naturally you have to be better, you have to stand out and by following recommendations blindly, you dont do that, you are the opposite. You are the sheep and better marketers are wolves.
OFFERS:
This is where it gets interesting. As I said, direct sales on the spot are getting harder and harder. What separates you from the rest? Content, context, the stories, the feeling, creativity – this is what you have to take care of.
You can use your everyday life for ecom marketing content. Example: You are going on a short vacation (short, because we dont really do that, we make money). What do you do?
Use this to your advantage. Make an offer that says, our boss is on vacation, free shipping till he gets back. PS: Dont tell him about this little stunt.
And market this to your audience. They will connect and the conversions will go up. It is this EASY.
Use every aspect of your life to connect with them, this connection and of course your good products will keep them coming back. And if you ask any big guys in the industry, the real money made is when people get back and you dont have to pay for the traffic to get them back. You know, ever heard of the “BACKEND MONEY”? That is the real asset.
Remember, you have to make use of the offers: gift offers, discount offers, sale offers, 2 for 1 offers, free shipping offers,… and give them a STORY. It is the story + the price + the product that ultimately sells.
Be creative, dont follow blindly, test stuff out, call shit out, call me out if you dare.. dont be a sheep, be a fckn WOLF.
Ohhh, and how do you know which are you? If you dont know, you are probably a sheep.
